Pledge to America

My fellow conservatives we are re-entering the era of Joe McCarthy. As usual Nancy Pelosi and Co. have been given a free pass on anti-opposition speech. During Tuesday’s press conference regarding the ground zero mosque, Pelosi said, “I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded.” She made this statement with such conviction that it never gave her pause as to the implication her words hold for conservatives. There are only two possible ways to interpret her statement.

The first reason could be how deeply imbedded in the mind of leftist elite democrats who are so incredibly grounded in domestic law and of utterly brilliant high mindedness that to oppose their decrees could only come from paid for opposition. The second reason, which should scare the hell out of all American citizens blue and red alike, is the fact that democracy and free speech now only exist for the far left.

We who oppose the mosque at ground zero are bigots and hate mongers. We who oppose any bill put forward by President Obama are racist. We who oppose cap and trade are addicted to oil and are ruining this country. We who want secure boarders are anti-Mexican. Conservatives are stupid, xenophobic, homophobic, sexist, backward and un-American. Tuesday night just added another label to our camp thanks to the left, “funded opposition to be investigated.”

Harkening back to the era of hunting pinko’s in government and Hollywood, one Senator Joseph McCarthy made a spectacle of himself while exposing real communist influence around the country. Eliminating Russian policy persuasion and shoring up leaky national security information during a scary time in America was serious; modern conservative voices being subjugated to mere catch phrases and worthy of investigation is also equally serious.

The left in this country are regularly working anti-free speech nomenclature into their public speaking events. The fact that the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ is back in our lexicon spells trouble. We need to remind everyone how Pelosi is a backer of the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ as reported by John Gizzi of ‘Human Events’ in June of 2008. Pelosi is also staunchly against Mike Pence’s ‘Broadcaster Freedom Act’ which would permanently ban the ‘Fairness Doctrine.’ Folk’s, if you are conservative you better plan on being investigated, ridiculed, silenced and ferociously taxed. Do you all understand how very serious November 2010 is?
